SCHOOL MISSION STATEMENT

Our Mission, founded on our Christian beliefs and values, is to serve our local and wider community through education of the highest quality.

Our whole school community works together:

To create a happy, welcoming and caring learning environment where each individual is valued, and recognised as unique.

To enable each member to achieve their full potential by stimulating their sense of curiosity and excitement about the world.

To encourage strong links between school, home, our parish and the wider community.

To build and promote Christian values, which reflect love, forgiveness, mutual respect and responsibility.

To place collective worship as a shared experience at the centre of our school’s daily life.

Our school is committed to the personal development of all involved in the life of the school and aims to provide life long learning for our school and local community.

AIMS AND VALUES OF OUR SCHOOL

Through our Mission Statement we aim:-

To provide a caring and secure environment where each pupil, being treated with respect, learns to respect others and their achievement.

To provide a stimulating and rich environment conducive to learning within a happy, working atmosphere.

To provide a well planned balanced and relevant curriculum which is responsive to individual needs, and is based on Early Years Foundation and National curriculum requirements.

To educate the whole child physically, emotionally, socially and intellectually, as well as spiritually, morally and culturally.

To develop lively, enquiring minds, the ability to question and debate, and to develop their skills and imaginations to express their ideas, thoughts and feelings in a variety of ways.

To encourage in every child the highest possible standard of work and behaviour.

To develop a sympathetic understanding and knowledge of the Christian faith and broaden awareness of other faiths.
