Healthy Schools Logo

Last year we have received re-accreditation of our Healthy Schools award. We first gained this award in 2005 in recognition of the work we do promoting Health Education throughout our school.  This year we also achieved recognition of our School Travel Plan which we are to implement through a variety of funded initiatives, including the successful introduction of our Walking Bus, led by the school staff and parent volunteers.

ECO SCHOOLS SILVER AWARD

We are a national Eco school, promoting environmental sustainable education. We first gained Bronze Award in 2005 and two years ago progressed to Silver Award.

BASIC SKILLS QUALITY MARK

At Henshaw CE First School we continue to have very high standards. .
